Britney Spears: VMAs Performance: Gimme More....Boniva

Uh, now does Britney know that we know that she doesn't sing live? She may know some of us know, but does she know we all know? All of us. Everyone. Even Helen Keller can see and hear this fraud-show coming from a mile away. Anyway, Britney opened up the VMAs with a lifeless performance of her new song "Gimme More." She should change the song to "Gimme More Boniva" because Britney was moving like a 75 year old woman with osteoporosis. Seriously she was barely moving and didn't even look like she cared she was there. Look, I'm not saying she needs to get herself down to Olsen weight, but I am saying that if she is going to wear Paula Abdul's old "Vibeology" costume from the 1991 Grammy's then I really think she should lose a couple more pounds.
As a side note, my favorite part of the whole performance was when they cut to shot of Rihanna and Venus Williams (or Serena) having a full on conversation paying no attention to Britney singing. Brilliant.

I agree. Horrible performance. This was her chance to shine and she was lifeless and dull.

Yeh she seemed nervous..but wouldn't u be after how harsh the publics been on her...and she did good...not her best...but she is britney and shes done amazing in the past so thats hard to live up to..i know shell be her old self on stage soon..i thought the song was great and she good on her for getting up there and after having 2 babies she looks pretty good!

You know - she did say she wanted to call her album "What if the joke's on you" - Yeah she screwed up tonite and actually looked a bit drunk - but what if she gets sympathy votes and has something really kick ass up her sleeve...
Either that, or the young lady really needs some help and guidance. But I wouldn't underestimate Ms Spears just yet...

I agree with Sally... I really feel bad for all the stuff she's been through and thought she wouldn't show at all, i give her a lot of credit for getting in front of her ex, justin and the rest of her peers and public and having the balls to do it... But she disappointed us... This could have been a good thing - an up swing in her career, a chance to shut everyone up - Sarah silverman was brutal.... I really hope she gets it together.... she looked good for having two kids, but she could have played off another outfit instead of a bikini... She gave us too much too fast...

Best. Description. Yet.

Horrific. Who the hell watched her rehearsals and though it was a good idea to let her out there? I mean, the lip-syncing is expected. The terrible 'dancing' unforgivable. just cringe-worthy.
eesh

she was slow; her stomach is still big from the babies; and how do you forget the words to your own song? I would be laughing too, if I was there...just like Rihanna!

She sucked so bad... and I loved her for it. She made me laugh HAHAHAHAHA

She looked unprepared, unsure of the choreography, unsure of the lyrics, unsure of why in hell she was out there. There was no energy in the performance, and that was something Britney ALWAYS had. I didn't mind her looks, but the legs really need work. I really wanted her to do well, and instead she looked like she didn't even rehearse.

I usually like laughing at her. But this time I just felt so sorry for her. I can't believe I actually felt bad. I wonder if she will go away now?

I can tell u what ur looking 4, cannot b found in a store, or a club, or even a bed. U know how empty u feel regardless of how much u buy, drink or ... there is someone who loves us Brit...mistakes and all...someone who can straighten your life, your heart and your mind. U just have 2 tell Him u need His help!! He loves u!!

THIS IS THE TRUTH I Still Love Her She Is Sexy an Crazy An Thats My Bitch. i Love's Her"....>>>>

Britney threatened to ditch her VMA performance just minutes before she took the stage. Want to know why? Britney overheard Sarah Silverman rehearsing her monologue in which she calls Britney's babies mistakes and takes jab after jab at Britney.

Britney made it very clear with MTV that Sarah was NOT allowed to talk about her kids, and MTV agreed. That big-mouthed bitch said it anyway.

Sam Lufti (VMA producer) was overheard backstage screaming at Sarah Silverman because of her outrageous remarks saying: "Sarah Silverman is a seriously unprofessional person to make fun of infants to get a laugh."

Perhaps this why Britney looked upset during her performance. Britney was seen backstage in Alli's arms crying about how cruel people can be to her babies.

While it is Silverman's job to get a laugh, it should not be at the expense of little babies. Your career must be hurting if you have to turn to bashing infants in order to gain a laugh. You'll get what's yours.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND
Britney Spears was to perform under the magic of Chris Angel... but MTV freaked out at the last minute finding out what Britney was actually going to do.

Supposidly, what Britney and Chris were planning was to do a set of mirrors and flotation. But when told to the Palms Hotel/Casino... the hotel flipped.

Insurance was the main problem, and the stage couldn't support the performance. MTV also freaked at the last minute because of their fear of being "too controversial" during the performance. Britney and Chris were infact furious with MTV's sad excuse and told Britney to change the performance at the last minute.

Britney's original performance was to infact appear and disappear. To float through the air... and for much mature dancing

Who the hell are you, her PR flack? Spin, spin to your heart's content, but I can't hear you over the sound of the SUCK.

My cat puts on a better show. I thought it was ironic that she sang "gimme more," since she wasn't giving much herself.

And to think they called her the "next Madonna." HA! Never.

ok britney is not fat.. ok so she is not celeb-anorexic yet, but what about beyonce or j lo? they are not stick figures either, and no one is giving them crap...!! britney has always been one of the "bigger" celebs out there.. . and by bigger, i mean not size 0-2 i thought her bod looked pretty good especially her boobs.. ill never understand whats up with those things they expand and contract daily..lol.. could lose 5-10 pounds, but whatever...she still looked good although i HATED those ugly ass blue contacte. lets face it, people have been making fun of britney from the get go, so its not much different now.. the man dancers were sexy as hell.. she should've put more sex appeal out there- probably felt a little self conscious in that dumb outfit- not looking as good as she used to, but the main thing, that everyone smelled from miles away was lack of confidence...but i don't hope she goes away, cause i enjoy her.. i just want her to be sexy again.. circa slave 4 you..and i like her new songs..they're just as bad and cheesy, but fun to get stuck in your head as "umbrella" by rhianna, no? and rhianna is now winning awards for that crap..rhianna is just the same thing as britney was in the beginning new ass and tits to look at. lol

It's Britney? Bitch!

Why is she still relevant?
Can we just stop pretending that she matters?

GO HOME AND RAISE YOUR KIDS…

Can we petition and get her a job as a Wal-Mart greeter?

If there's an IQ or a piss test for the job she wouldn't stand a chance...

I agree that her performance was not the best, but GEES..can someone give her a break!! I'm sorry but I don't think you should kick a dog while its down, and apparently she's down. It was apparent from her performance, her confidence is not what it once was. I think she shouldn't wear the outfits she wears, if she had worn something a little more conservative she probably wouldn't get ridiculed like she does...but again, DON'T KICK A DOG WHILE ITS DOWN!!! And I thought Sarah Silverman's stand-up was totally wrong!! She really shouldn't have been allowed to say what she did...especially about Britney's children. I think people are cruel. Britney's got issue, but who wouldn't that had the rise to fame that she did!! I don't think people are made to deal w/ that kind of adoration fame brings, not at the level it is for some of the big stars. Look what it did to Elvis & Marilyn, no comparison as far as fame...but still the point remains....people aren't emotionally equipped to deal w/ that sort of worshipping, so to speak!! Give the girl a break...don't judge a person until you've walked a mile in her silouhettos (however you spell it)!!! LOL!!

Actually, Rihanna and the Williams girl were laughing at the stripper dance happening above them. Same with Fifty.
