Praise Montag. The Hills, Season 4, is going to happen after all according to In Touch Weekly. Thank Christ. I'm saved! There is no word yet on when it will air, but hopefully we won't need to wait until the summer to see what happens to these wonderful douche-bags. There is also no word yet on what the theme of Season 4 will be, but I have a few guesses. I'd assume that we would follow a sub-plot of what happened to Heidi's old nose. Did it move out of LA and head back to Heidi's childhood home in Colorado to be with her horse once and for all? Will Audrina's obsession for teeth whitening finally be exposed via a hidden camera plot that incorporates an NBC Dateline investigation? Will Lisa Loveless finally find true love with Whitney? Will Whitney continue providing everyone with her innovative Hallmark card advice? Will Steve Sanders ever finish the books he's reading on the same spot on the couch that he sits on in every episode? And finally, what in the hell ever happened to Lauren's friend Jill? Was she just a hologram? Stay tuned!

Yes but Steve Sanders and Heidi will not be on the 4th Season. Lauren did not want to do the 4th season but MTV offered her more $$$ and NO Heidi.
So...unless MTV offers them a newly wed reality show. :)

no heidi or spencer eh? i guess the whole break-up angle didn't work considering last night they were presenters on Spike TV's Video Game Awards show and looked happy. Guess it's time for Heidi to focus on her singing career.
I think that the "big announcement" is going to be any of these three options:
a. Steve Sanders and his fembot not being on the show anymore
b. A new intern is coming to Teen Vogue...DRAMA!
c. Whitney and/or LC is going to Paris which will be the focus of Season 4.

Fellow Commenters, where are you guys getting your info regarding an announcement? Or did I not read this post thoroughly enough? My aplogies if that is the case.
if Speidi aren't on the Hills anymore, it will mean they get their own show. I am already so super fricken sick of seeing stupid made up publicity stunt articles in US magazine about that. If they get their own show, it truly will be the decline of civilization.
I highly doubt that the quarrels of 'Speidi' alone could have enough substance for their own stand-alone show. I'm only intrigued by their story because it has been PART of the Hills.
I really don't mind their story, but can't take too much of it. On the other hand, I still want to know what will become of their relationship--so to take them out of Season 4 would be like ripping some pages out of a book you were reading, and to create their own show would be like trying to staple those ripped out pages together to create a novel--once again, not enough stubstance to create a whole show!
I don't think that should be a concern if Heidi gets her own show. Who will watch it?? no ratings means no show. I think the people at mtv won't take those kinds of risks if they do there research. I mean why would they stick with what works LC and please that girl Kristen was annoying don't bring her back she had her fame.
This show was interesting. It's funny how when these kinds of shows end you actually miss them for a bit. I hope when they decide no more season they figure out a way to wrap things up.
